I'm not sure...I've eaten pasta in Japan and the food definitely was reminiscent of that. Is it a good thing though? There's a reason traditional Italian pasta is so beloved, just the way it is. Then again, everything we ate WAS tasty, if a bit odd.

Finally made it to Totto and it did not disappoint. I never understood the obsession with yakitori before but now i do!! great clean flavors and fun sharable portions. More expensive than a normal izakaya type place, but worth it for sure.

Service here was bizarro, though no doubt well-intentioned. The food was actually quite tasty and different for brunch. I had the papardelle with rabbit which was good, though maybe underseasoned. Overall a fairly pleasant, albeit quirky experience.

The ramen fulfilled all pre-conceived expectations of yummy, creamy broth and quality but minimal components. To me though... it's still just ramen!! It's simple fast food, not worthy of more than 3 stars, i say..

This place is consistent..i mean REALLY consistent, like the 'special platter' pretty much consists of the same sushi every time. not that it's a bad thing though, the pieces are most always flavorful and fresh.
